Requirements

– (Required) 2+ years of experience as a Data Tester or QA Engineer
– (Required) Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
– (Required) Experience with Scripting language such as Unix Shell or PowerShell
– (Optional) Experience with T-SQL and MS SQL Server (Azure SQL Database or On-premise)
– (Optional) Experience with MS Azure Data Stack – Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, PowerBI
– (Optional) Knowledge in Data Warehousing and Data Lake concepts
– (Optional) Experience with DevOps software suite such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.
– (Optional) Experience with programming languages such as Spark and/or Python

Descriptions

– Design test plans from business requirements and specifications
– Perform black box and white box testing on data systems hosted on premise or in the cloud
– Focus on unit, functional, integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance testing
– Test Cases Automation and Logging using Devops/Agile concepts and methodologies
– Code fixes and development of solutions; cross training as a developer within the project stack
– Teamwork in a cross-functional, high-performance international team
